Lead the development and implementation of Infection Prevention and Control (IPAC) strategies to ensure IPAC related standards and best practices are met. Develop an Infection Prevention and Control Improvement Plan by collaborating with clinical leaders and through an annual evaluation process.
Provide advice and consultation regarding the organization’s complex issues and activities while minimizing the risk to the patients, the professional staff and the organization. Responsible for ensuring the program, organizational, Board, Ministry and other reporting requirements are achieved and maintained.
Ensure infection prevention and control accreditation reporting requirements meet PHSA standards through the development of programs, policies and initiatives, reviews, evaluation and assessments.
