1. Business and Regulatory Risk Management Leadership

• Serve as the leading oversight for Quebec for Canadian Banking, Canadian Wealth Management and Global Transaction Banking, ensuring all initiatives align with provincial legal regulations and Scotiabank’s risk appetite.
• Work closely with Global Banking and Markets leadership to identify alignment opportunities.
• Provide expert advice to senior leaders on the impact of Quebec laws and regulations on business strategy, operations, and customer experience across all business lines.
• Represent the Quebec Region in interactions with head office support functions and governance forums to integrate provincial considerations into policy, product and process design.
