The City of St. Catharines is seeking a Certified Engineering Technologist, Civil discipline to support the Chief Building Official in planning, budgeting, and administration of development coordination. This role involves technical analysis, reviewing development plans, managing project execution, liaising with developers and municipal agencies, and ensuring compliance with financial and safety requirements.
Assist in planning, budgeting, administration and operation of development coordination; undertake technical analysis and provide recommendations on developments under subdivision or site plan agreements; prepare servicing reports; coordinate and manage municipal development projects; represent the Building and Development Division at meetings and committees; conduct extensive field investigations to verify submitted plans and drawings.
