Oversee new product development projects, drive process and design improvements, and spearhead research and development initiatives for a manufacturer of vertical feed mixers.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with the design/drafting team to conceptualize ideas, conduct thorough testing, and revise drawings, bill of materials, and operating procedures.
Partner with production to identify process gaps, ensure product quality, and streamline builds.
Lead efforts in liaising with the parts and warranty team for service parts needs, warranty/failure analysis, and troubleshooting.
Provide guidance to the team of designers, including coaching, managing goals, and aligning with commitments and KPIs.
Approve drawings and calculations as required.
Qualifications
Completion of an engineering degree from an accredited institute.
