of Public Interest Disclosure.
Overview This position plays a key leadership role in supporting the Ombudsperson and ensuring the effective delivery of services that promote fairness, accountability, and integrity within the provincial public sector. Acting as second-in-command, the Deputy Ombudsperson provides strategic and operational leadership, oversees investigations, ensures the timely and impartial resolution of complaints and disclosures of wrongdoing or reprisal, and provides oversight and direction to staff while supporting organizational priorities. The Deputy also serves as the Ombudsperson in their absence or where conflicts of interest arise.
