Responsibilities
Lead the meat department, acting as coach, mentor, and resource while fostering a positive team environment focused on Always Customer First service.
Ensure operational excellence through customer experience, health and safety, food safety, and merchandising.
Engage and retain team members through training, rewards/recognition, and succession planning.
Support team member related initiatives such as performance management, administration of collective agreement terms (if applicable), and conflict resolution.
Communicate key messages and business objectives to team members, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Assist management in reviewing and analyzing income statements and identifying opportunities to improve departmental performance.
