Join the culinary team as a Sous Chef at Maligne Lake for the exciting 2026 season. This full-time role requires leadership, innovation, and an eye for quality in food preparation.
Running from May 3 to October 17, this seasonal contract offers on-site housing and meal benefits. You'll supervise food prep operations, train kitchen staff, and ensure exceptional dining experiences for guests. Your ability to manage high-volume production while nurturing teamwork will be essential in this dynamic setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise kitchen personnel and coordinate food production
• Implement and monitor food safety standards and procedures
• Ensure food is presented attractively and meets quality standards
• Manage kitchen cleanliness and maintenance of equipment
• Encourage teamwork between kitchen and front-of-house staff
Requirements:
• 2-3 years of relevant supervisory kitchen experience
