Baker Tilly is looking for a CPA Articling Student to join the Assurance, Compilation & Tax team. This role involves preparing financial statements, tax filings, bookkeeping, client communication, and collaborating with team members to support engagement delivery.

Your role

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including compilations and review engagements, in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
• Assist with the preparation of corporate income tax returns (T2s), HST filings, and other applicable tax filings under supervision.
• Prepare entries to intermediate level personal income tax returns (T1s) and related schedules, including analysis of common tax issues.
• Complete monthly and quarterly bookkeeping engagements, including accounts payable and receivable, bank and credit card reconciliations, payroll calculations and remittances, and annual T4 reporting.
