Course Lecturer Position – The Underground Economy (ECON 316‑001)

Department: Department of Economics, Faculty of Arts, McGill University

Period: Fall 2026 – Aug31 to Dec4, 2026
Schedule: Tuesday and Thursday 08:35am – 09:55am

Location: SADB1/12

Salary: $11,824 per course

Responsibilities

  • Teach the undergraduate course ECON316‑001, The Underground Economy, covering topics such as black‑market dynamics, contraband trade, and money laundering.
  • Prepare lesson plans, deliver lectures, and create course materials.
  • Assess student performance through examinations, assignments, and participation.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development.
