Our client is looking for experienced cooks as working as part of their team in food preparation and presentation of meals as required to total customer satisfaction.
Required:
AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training or AQF Certificate IV
OR at least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications.
Preparation, creation, decoration of food items
Eamining foodstuffs to ensure quality
Plan, develop and estimate food costs when ordering food supplies
Monitor quality of dishes
Prepare and cook food demonstrating a variety of cooking techniques
Season food during cooking
Portion food
Keep kitchen and enforce hygiene regulations
Enthusiasm and creative approach to providing high-quality cuisine
Demonstrated understanding of Australian food safety and HACCP
