Reporting to the General Manager, the main responsibilities are:
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure the company's interests are protected.
Provide legal advice on a variety of matters related to contracts of services and suppliers including EPC, underground equipment service contracts among others.
Ensure compliance with local and international legal regulations and standards.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to provide legal guidance.
Manage legal disputes and liaise with external legal counsel when necessary.
Conduct risk assessments and provide solutions to mitigate potential legal risks on contracts.
Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations impacting the industry.
