This position is a 12-month contractor role in Calgary, Alberta ; the successful candidate will be onboarded through a third-party contracting agency.
Your Background
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Applied Science , or equivalent, and professional registration with APEG or acceptable eligibility.
Minimum 15 years of Civil and Structural Engineering design experience with an Alberta Oil & Gas Industry Production Company or Engineering Company, including construction support.
Demonstrated examples of creativity and innovation in addressing engineering design challenges.
Sound knowledge and experience in all aspects of civil and structural engineering, including:
earthwork,
structural steel,
concrete,
buildings and foundations (shallow, concrete pile, driven steel pile, and helical pile).
