Co‑op Manager – Overview

The Co‑op Manager is responsible for the day‑to‑day management, oversight of financial activities, and maintenance of the co‑op. The Manager works within the guidelines and provisions of all applicable policies and procedures, including the Co‑op Corporation Act and the Bylaws, and under the direction of the Board of Directors. The role includes supervision of a part‑time Administrator and other contracted or employed staff.

Hours of Work

35 hours per week. Occasional evening and weekend meetings as required by the Board of Directors.

Corporate Responsibilities

• Ensure the maintenance of corporate records of the co‑op as required by the Cooperative Corporations Act of Ontario.
• Ensure reports and notices are filed with government agencies as required.
