Walker Group provides advanced high-precision manufacturing services from centres of excellence located in the UK and Poland. We are seeking CNC Operators to join our team in Basildon. You will be responsible for manufacturing high precision parts on mainly 4 and 5 axis milling and turn/ mill CNC machines, as well as general machining tasks. CNC Operators Key Responsibilities:
Setting and operation of various multi axis CNC machines.
Inspect parts using CMM and other inspection equipment to ensure compliance with drawings.
Carefully follow procedures and safety guidelines. This includes company procedures, operating standards, and production methods.
Maintain an accurate log of any production and equipment problems, adjustments, and repairs.
Maximise machine uptime through preventative measures (TPM).
Safety focus to ensure themselves and others are safe around operational machinery
