Duties include inspection of aerospace precision sheet metal and machining details, assemblies and special processes.
SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES
This position will require working in a team environment with machinists, inspectors, and managers to reduce cost and lead-time by establishing CMM programs that will decrease inspection time and provide accurate measurement results as feedback during the first article process, final AQL inspection, and support of lean manufacturing
When not programming the CMM this position will require other miscellaneous quality assurance activities such as supporting final inspection, training junior inspectors/programmers etc.
Program complex parts using CMM with COSMOS software
Provide assistance to inspectors using the programmable CMM as necessary
