Where Work Meets Adventure
If so, you should consider applying for the Circle of Care Coordinator position at Wabano Centre for Aboriginal Health, where culture, community, and compassion lead the way.
When the Children’s Aid Society (CAS) opens a file involving an Indigenous family, Wabano will receive a referral. Wabano’s responsibility is to ensure that Indigenous families receive culturally informed, community-based support for the duration of their involvement with CAS.
The Circle of Care program uses a culturally informed Alternative Dispute Resolution process to facilitate talking circles with families, CAS representatives, and other supports. Through this approach, staff help create a collaborative environment that supports families in reaching constructive, sustainable solutions.
Our goal is simple:
Strengthen families through culture, connection, and community-based solutions.
