CSL Australia is currently looking for a permanent full time Chief Engineer to join our transhipment operation in Western Australia. Reporting to the Master, the Chief Engineer is the head of the Engine Department.
The safe/efficient operation, maintenance and repair of all machinery and electrical equipment onboard.
Supervising all Engineering Officers, while adhering to budgets and purchasing procedures of the Company.
Safeguarding the Overs’ and Company’s interest at all times.
Assisting the Chief Officer in the operation of the ship’s cargo equipment.
Keeping the Chief Officer advised of any bunker, lubricating oils or sludge transfers which may affect the ship’s trim, stress and/or stability.
