Cemetery Lettering Engraver

Crossroads Staffing is recruiting a Cemetery Lettering Engraver for a long‑standing, family‑owned monument company in the Orillia area. This is a highly specialized and meaningful trade that plays an important role in honouring families and their loved ones.

In this role, you will engrave inscriptions on monuments that are already installed in cemeteries. Cross‑training is also provided in the production shop, particularly in the layout department.

Key Responsibilities

• Travel to cemeteries to complete on‑site monument engraving
• Operate mobile compressors, sandblasting equipment, and specialized tools
• Cut detailed stencils with precision and accuracy
• Prepare, mask, and finish inscriptions on granite monuments
• Maintain professionalism and respect in sensitive cemetery environments
• Assist in the production shop or with other crews as required
