Position Overview

Buyer – Defense Electronics (Onsite) in Ottawa, Ontario. This tactical role bridges supplier relationship and procurement needs based on MRP requirements to support the business. The role requires close networking with Planning, Purchasing, Program Management and Production teams and a solid understanding of the activities required to meet forecast commits and internal requirements.

• Responsible for the purchasing and management of commodities in order to support Curtiss‑Wright supply chain.
• Drive supplier performance improvement as measured on scorecards, and actively manage supplier quality issues through a thorough root cause and corrective action methodology.
