About This Opportunity

Join the BC Ferries Total Rewards team as an Employee Benefits Specialist. Influence employee well-being by designing and managing comprehensive benefits programs in Victoria or Vancouver Lower Mainland.
As a vital part of the team, you'll utilize your four or more years of experience in benefits and total rewards to manage programs that meet employee needs. Your responsibilities will span from researching benefit offerings to guiding policy development, ensuring clarity and compliance. This role requires a proactive approach in educating staff on benefits and monitoring performance metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design competitive benefits programs for employees
• Conduct research on benefits plan effectiveness
• Guide and audit benefits administration
• Educate employees on available programs
• Analyze workforce needs and utilization trends
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related area
• Minimum 4 years in benefits management
