About This Opportunity

Join Avalon Care Center Tacoma as a dedicated HR Coordinator focused on payroll and employee support. Utilize your healthcare background to enhance our HR functions effectively.
This full-time role encompasses all aspects of HR and payroll oversight, ensuring accurate employee records, payroll processing, and benefits management at the facility. Reporting to the Administrator, you'll assist in employee orientations and claim processing, contributing to a seamless workplace experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee new employee orientation and paperwork
• Manage payroll system entries and employee pay
• Act as a liaison for employee inquiries and claims
• Facilitate unemployment insurance claims
• Administer employee benefits accurately and confidentially
Requirements:
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• 3 years of relevant HR/Payroll experience
• Solid understanding of payroll systems necessary
• Bachelor’s degree in HR is preferred
