About This Opportunity

Responsibilities
  • Handle cargo claims, supervise cargo claim handling and coordinate legal defense strategies within GHQ
  • Review and draft contracts and advise business units
  • Engage in data analysis and loss prevention
  • Analyze claims data and trends, and develop and implement strategic risk-mitigation and loss-prevention programs across business units.
  • Monitor and advise on compliance matters affecting global maritime operations
  • Handle related administrative tasks related to P&I insurance and maritime claims
  • Handle corporate legal, insurance and compliance tasks
  • Support in any ad hoc tasks as assigned
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Law (LL.B) or Juris Doctor (J.D) degree from a recognized institution, with qualification to practic
  • A minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience either in private practice or as an in-house legal counse
