Senior Assistant Controller – Finance

Location: Laval, Quebec, CA or Val-d'Or, Quebec, CA (J9P 0L7)

Schedule: Monday to Friday (5-2). Remote work is available.

The Senior Assistant Controller plans, organizes, directs, controls, and evaluates the operations of the accounting department. The role involves developing and implementing the company’s financial procedures and systems and establishing an integrated, efficient system to reduce error risk and ensure effective control over company activities and transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze accounting records, general ledger, financial statements, and other accounting documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare or coordinate the preparation of financial statements, profitability reports, and management analyses.
