:This directed research is aimed at engaging students in the actual work of the United Nations by conducting research and preparing studies on the application and interpretation of articles of the United Nations Charter by the principal organs of the organization. To this end, the Law Faculty of the University of Ottawa and the Codification Division of the Office of Legal Affairs of the United Nations have agreed, through exchange of letters, on a collaboration program to involve law students in the preparation of studies for the Repertory of Practice of United Nations Organs—a legal publication of the United Nations.
