An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced perioperative nurse to step into the role of Associate Nurse Unit Manager, specialising in plastics within a dynamic surgical environment at a private hospital in Melbourne. This is a full-time permanent role. ABOUT THE ROLE As a senior member of a clinical team, you will review, plan, oversee, and deliver patient care within the unit under the guidance and support of the Nurse Unit Manager and Clinical Nurse Educator. The Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) provides operational leadership and expert clinical oversight within the perioperative/plastics area. You will drive high-quality patient care and efficient theatre-to-ward workflows, coordinate daily unit operations, and mentor clinical staff, with an emphasis on managing complex plastic patient care. REQUIREMENTS
Current registration with AHPRA;
Minimum three (2 -3) years' perioperative nursing experience;
