YOUR OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for an Analyst to join our Real Estate Debt team. This position is located in Edmonton, Alberta. Reporting to the Director of Underwriting, the successful candidate will work closely with the Origination team through the mortgage application and loan funding process, including:

• Timely and thorough underwriting and assessment of mortgage loan opportunities;
• Assess and assist in the structuring of medium complexity loan requests, determining overall viability of prospective mortgage loans;
• In collaboration with the Originators, identify and mitigate key risks and ensure the accuracy of loan applications submitted.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Complete the timely feasibility assessments of prospective mortgage loan opportunities for medium complexity loans and provide support to Originators through the loan structuring process, identifying key risks and mitigants.
