Position Summary

In partnership with other members of the medical staff, the hospitalist will provide care for designated hospital in‑patients at Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital (OSMH). They may be most responsible physician (MRP) for these patients or involved in concurrent care along with one of the specialists. The hospitalists will work with the multidisciplinary team to provide care and services at OSMH in accordance with accepted and evolving standards of clinical practice, utilizing excellent diagnostic and therapeutic skills for the assessment and management of a wide range of medical conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide MRP coverage for designated in‑patients (designated patients are unattached – out of area or not currently enrolled with a physician or group that does inpatient care).
