+ Accounting degree or equivalent;
+ Excellent computer skills (MS Office package);
+ Syspro;
+ Knowledge of accepted accounting practices and principles;
+ Knowledge of economic principles;
+ Knowledge of auditing practices and principles;
+ Knowledge of applicable law, codes and regulations;
+ Minimum 3 years' experience in an accountant position.
Responsibilities General ledger Monthly processing of journals namely: accruals, provisions, depreciation, head office cost allocation, salaries / wages, corrections / reallocations;
Review of conciliations Monthly balance sheet accounts reconciliations; Monthly intercompany loan accounts reconciliations; Income statement movement reviews and analyses on specific accounts as required
