EHS CO-OP STUDENT SUMMARY

The EHS Co‑op will be working on job assignments related to their functional environmental or safety discipline.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Apply EHS principles that he or she has learned in school to hands‑on situations.
• Work with the hourly workforce to address day‑to‑day safety concerns.
• Create Department Hazard Maps.
• Review Environmental / Safety Policies, Procedures, and Programs.
• Perform Respirator Fit Testing.
• Perform Plant‑wide Hearing Conservation Survey.
• Gather / Research Safety Data for the Safety Department.
• Conduct Confined Space Entry Evaluations.
• Perform Job Safety Analyses (JSA) for various processes and tasks.
• Work on various environmental projects.
