We are looking for a Production Group Leader to supervise a unionized group of hourly employees at an Oshawa Assembly Plant or other locations. The role focuses on quality, safety, efficiency, and cost reduction.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise hourly employees in a unionized environment.
Implement health & safety laws and promote a safe work environment.
Ensure quality levels are maintained and improved daily.
Maintain and exceed efficiency levels through continuous improvements.
Use personnel, materials, and equipment effectively.
Align with local and national labour agreements.
Maintain department records and complete administrative tasks.
Achieve business plan objectives and targets.
Work shift rotations, including weekends and overtime as required.
